Trainings and Tutorials

From the Student Technology Assistance Center at Bowling Green State University through my time as an Associate Instructor of Metals at Indiana University. From the University of North Texas Fab Lab through the Wesleyan University IDEAS Lab, I’ve written tutorials and training manuals for a wide variety of situations, audiences, and learning outcomes.

Pictured below are sample covers of the latest documentation I’ve created for the Wesleyan University IDEAS Lab. PDFs are available for review upon request. The linked video is the first in a series of step-by-step guides for new users. I am currently in the process of expanding this out to cover the rest of the equipment in the lab, starting with basic hand tools, followed by power tools and moving eventually into CNC.

Laser Engraving Walkthrough

Every aspect of this video was self-produced for Wesleyan University. Photography, script, voice-over, motion graphics, editing, design, music, captioning. A lot came together for this. I’m already working on the next one.
